Florence A. Lekom, 101, Westport

Florence A. (Tripp) Lekom, 101, of Westport, died Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center.  She was the wife of the late Joseph Lekom.

Born in Westport, she was the daughter of the late Augustus W. and Addie F. (Brightman) Tripp.  Prior to retirement in 1977, she was a secretary for the Westport School Department.  Mrs. Lekom was a member of the Church of Our Savior, Somerset.

Survivors include a son, Jonathan B. Lekom of Fall River; three daughters, Audrey J. Jackson of Keene, NH, Brenda S. Underhill of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Donna K. Kershaw of Groton, Conn.; 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Marcia E. Lekom and sister of the late Warren, Lynwood, Kenneth and Carlton Tripp, Helen Borden, N. Ruth Shaw and Dorothy Tripp.

Her graveside service, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be Monday, May 12, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport, at 11 a.m..

Arrangements are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.

Joseph F. Francis, 48, of Child Street, Warren, died Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Care Center in Providence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jill Cheetham.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Frank and Antonetta “Etta: (Murgo) Francis, he was a self-employed carpenter. He was a communicant of St. Mary Of The Bay Church in Warren and loved traveling, the outdoors, camping and being on the water. He also was a big family man.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Briana Francis and Carina Francis, both of Warren; two brothers, Daniel F. Francis of Warren and Frank Francis Jr. of Bristol; and four sisters, Joan E. Francis of Bristol, Ann Marie Roy of Barrington, Christine E. McGovern of Warren and Jane L. Francis of Barrington. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William J. Francis and Gaetano F. Francis.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 15, from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Of The Bay Church, 645 Main St., Warren. Burial will follow in the North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 14.

Roger William Boucher, 85, Bristol

Roger William Boucher, 85, passed away peacefully May 3, with family by his side, including his devoted wife of 59 years, Joan (Murdough) Boucher.

Photo from Feb 7, 2014Mr. Boucher was born in Providence in 1929 to Lt. Commander USNR Leopold and Jeanne (Schadeck) Boucher of West Warwick.

He and his wife Joan raised seven children in the Highlands of Bristol. He loved Highland’s tennis and Wednesday night racing at the Bristol Yacht Club. He was a big fan of his family’s athletic achievements and professional successes. In 1996, the Providence Country Day School elected Roger and Joan, and their three sons Jeb, Zip and Toby to its Athletic Hall of Fame.

An Eagle Scout, he served as a Cubmaster and on the Camp Yawgoog staff. He was a past member-at-large of the RI Boy Scouts, supported the Camp Yawgoog Staff Alumni and chaired many East Bay fund campaigns.

He served in the USMC, received a fleet appointment to the USNA, and attended the Tome School in Harve de Grasse, MD, and the University of Rhode Island with the class of 1952.

As a Red Cross volunteer, he chaired the Pawtuxet Valley Chapter and played an active role in the consolidation of the Warwick and East Greenwich chapters, creating the Central RI Chapter, of which he was an officer and board member.

Roger began his business career in Detroit, Mich., with RC Wilson Inc., followed by 16 years at the Davol Rubber Company of Providence, where he served as its marketing manager. After Davol was acquired by International Paper Co, he became General Manager of its Consumer Products Division and Canadian operations.

In 1975, he joined Horton, Church & Goff, an advertising agency, where he became Senior VP and group manager for consumer product clients. Later, with colleagues, he formed his own advertising agency serving regional clients under the firm names of Holmes, Boucher & Co, and HCC/Boucher & Co.

After retirement, he served on numerous non-profit boards. He enjoyed lunching with Turks Head Club friends and reading history.   An active member of St Michael’s Church of Bristol, he served as a vestry member and stewardship chair. He also helped establish the Tri-Centennial Organ Fund Foundation of which he was a trustee.

He is survived by his wife Joan, six brothers and sisters: Lorraine and Claire of Florida, Paul of South Carolina, and Richard, Jacqueline and Brian of Rhode Island, and seven children: Jonathan [Anne Woodward] of Harrison NY; Whitney [Pamela Bennett] of Hingham, Mass.; Sandra [William Zinser] of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Meredith [Peter Wagner] of Port Ludlow, Wash.; Melissa [Harry Yergey] of Darien, Conn.; Sarah [Richard Cox] of Los Angeles Calif.; and Thomas [Anne Goff] of San Diego, and 15 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31 at 11 a.m. at St Michael’s Church in Bristol.

Elaine C. Burke, 76, Bristol

obit - burkeElaine C. Burke, R.N., 76, passed away on May 12 after long battle with cancer. She is now in Heaven with God. Elaine was born in Bristol to Mr. and Mrs. Domingoes Souza and was married to Alfred Burke for 55 years.

She is survived by two sons, William Burke and his wife Dolores, Steven Burke and his wife Sue; three grandsons, Marine Cpl. Corey Burke, Ryan Burke and Derick Burke; one sister, Geraldine Silvia and her husband Joseph.

Mrs. Burke worked at Roger Williams Medical Center for 42 years, retiring in 2007 as case manager. Elaine was a graduate of Colt Memorial in 1955 and a graduate of Newport Hospital School of Nursing 1958.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol.

and was a den mother to Cub Scouts Pack 6. She loved to bake and garden.

Elaine loved going to Mexico where she had some great friends.

Funeral will be private.

Diamantino Pereira, 95, Riverside

Diamantino “Tino” Pereira  95, of Forest Ave., Riverside, died peacefully on May 6, 2014 at Evergreen House surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Irma (Veitengruber) Pereira.

Born in Bristol, a son of the late Diamantino and Idalina (Rodrigues) Pereira, he lived in Riverside for many years.

Mr. Pereira was a foreman at Bristol Mfg. for many years before retiring.

Besides his wife of 55 years, he is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph and Anthony Pereira, Julia Pereira and Luella Andrade.

His funeral services were held May 10 from the Raymond Watson Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. John Codega at St. Brendan’s Church in Riverside.

Liturgical readings were by Jane Andrade Matrone and Justin Matrone. The Prayer of the Faithful was read by Nancy Andrade.  The offertory gifts were presented by Thomas and Ellen Donovan.  Burial with military honors followed at Swan Point Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were John P. Andrade, Victor Andrade, Jack Andrade and Thomas Donovan.

Cecilia Almeida Aguiar, 87, Bristol

obit - aguiarCecilia Almeida (Soares) Aguiar, 87, of Wood Street, passed away on May 5 at Silver Creek Manor.  She was the wife of Eduardo B. Aguiar.

Born in Pico da Pedra, St. Michael Acores, she was the daughter of the late Augusto and Maria da Luz Almeida Tavares. Cecilia was the mother of Elsa (Joe) Amaral-Ribeiro and Marie (Gil) Amaral of Bristol; grandmother of Kevin Amaral, Melissa Amaral, Jennifer Fleury, Kristine Amaral; and great grandmother of Alannah Amaral and Mariah Fleury. She was the sister of the late Jose Tavares, Manuel Tavares, Joao Tavares, Maria Tavares, Margarida Tavares and Maria de Luz Tavares.

Her funeral services were held May 8 from the George Lima Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Luis Dutra at St. Elizabeth Church. Liturgical readings were by Kevin Amaral and Joe Alves. The Prayer of the Faithful was read by Kevin Amaral. The offertory gifts were presented by Melissa Amaral, Jennifer Fleury and Kristine Amaral.

Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Joe Ribeiro, Gil Amaral, Joe Alves, Richard Messier, Rob Fleury and Kevin Amaral.

Alexandria Souza 83, Tiverton

Alexandria (Wasilowski) Souza 83, of Tiverton, also known as “Lexie,” passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014.  She was the wife of the late Carlos Souza.

Born in Tiverton, she was the daughter of the late Katherine (Janicki) and Bronislaw Wasilowski.  She had worked for the Tiverton School System for 41 years and was the assistant to the principal at Ft. Barton School.  She was a member of St. Theresa Parish and was the proud owner of the Club Souza Softball Team.

She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Restuccia, and a son, Michael Souza, along with two granddaughters, Danielle and Heather Restuccia.  She also leaves a brother, Bronislaw Wasilowski.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.  Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home, 462 Main Road, Tiverton, with a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Theresa Church.  Burial will be at Newport Memorial Park, Middletown.  www.almeida-pocasset.com

 

Russell Gordon Duby, 77, Little Compton

dubyRussell Gordon Duby, 77, of Little Compton, passed away on Tuesday May 13, 2014, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of 54 years to Carol Jane (Smith) Duby.

Russell was born in Providence, the son of the late Charles F. and Helen (Lavous) Duby. He was a graduate of Cranston High School, Class of 1954. Russell then went on to graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design with a bachelors in textile engineering in 1958 and then earned his master’s degree from the Institute of Textile Technology in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 1960. He began his professional career working as a textile engineer for the Dow Chemical Company in Williamsburg, Virginia, for 13 years, then for Quaker Fabric in Fall River for 20 years, and then Geb Yarn in Fall River for several years until he retired in 2004.

Mr. Duby was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Tiverton for many years. He sang in the Greater Tiverton Community Chorus as well as the Holy Trinity Choir. He enjoyed photography and designing computer programs and was a saxophone player in several Big Bands. Russell enjoyed working in his yard and cherished the time he spent with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He volunteered at the Westport Elementary School for many years assisting his wife in the art room.

Survivors besides his wife are a daughter, Carolyn K. Duby and her husband David G. Swift of Westport; and two grandchildren: Andrew and Abigail.

Calling hours for Mr. Duby will be held on Fridaty from 4-7 p.m. in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River. His Funeral Mass with Requiem Eucharist will be held on Saturday morning at 10 in Holy Trinity Church, 1956 Main Road, Tiverton. The family will receive relatives and friends the morning of the funeral at the church from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be held at a later date.

John B. King Jr., 72, Warren

obit King photoJohn B. “Bud” King Jr., 72, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014. He was the loving husband of Betty (Atkinson) King.
Born in Attleboro, MA., he was a son of the late John Basil Sr. and Ruth (Gustafson) King. Mr. King attended Roger Williams University as well as Bryant College. He was on the Board of Governors and a past president of the Touisset Point Community Club, a member of the Portuguese American Club and a volunteer firefighter for Engine #6 for many years. He loved sports and was an avid bowler.
Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Sherri King and Rebecca Hindle and her husband Edward and John Basil King III; a brother, Douglas King; his grandchildren, Rachel and Lauren Rodrigues and Emma and Eddie Hindle; several nieces and nephews; and his cat, Little Buddy.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, in St. Mary of the Bay Parish, Main Street, Warren.

Dorothy G. Gablinske, 98, Bristol

obit gablinskeDorothy G. Gablinske (Vera), 98, of Mt. Pleasant Avenue, died peacefully on May 15, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late William H. Gablinske.

Born in Warren, a daughter of the late John and Bella (August) Vera, she lived in Bristol for 60 years and Barrington for 10 years.

Mrs. Gablinske was a nurse’s aid for the former Desilets Nursing Home.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen A. Palumbo, and a son, John Gablinske, both of Bristol; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Georgia Borges, John and Warren Vera.

H. Clarice (Tootell) Santos, 89, of Westport, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Friday, May 23, 2014 at Kimwell Nursing & Rehabilitation.  She was wife of the late John A. Santos, Jr.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late James and Hannah (Longford) Tootell, she had lived in Westport for most of her life.  Mrs. Santos enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, cooking and baking, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include five sons, John A. Santos III, Norman B. Santos, Arthur D. Santos, Kevin W. Santos and Karl W. Santos, all of Westport; two daughters, Katherine A. Santos-Rezendes of Cary, NC, and Holly J. Abdallah of Morrisville, NC; four grandchildren, Mostafa Abdallah, Nadia Abdallah, Eman Abdallah and Rebecca Rezendes; and several nieces and nephews.

Private arrangements were held under the direction of the Pitter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.

George E. Goulart, 90, Little Compton

goulartGeorge E. Goulart, 90, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, surrounded by his wife and loving family at St. Clare Nursing Home, Newport. He was the husband of Lorraine M. (Souza) Goulart; they were married for 63 years. Born in Little Compton, a son of the late Frank and Mary (Ray) Goulart, he was a lifelong resident of Little Compton.

George was a dairy farmer for 60 years and the owner of Franlart Farm until retiring in 1987. He was chairman of Agway Region of Newport County, R.I., and Bristol County, Mass.

In 1960, Franlart Farm was awarded the Green Pastures Award as the top dairy farm in Rhode Island. He was a member of the Little Compton Planning Board and Review. He was an avid card player and enjoyed golfing with his family and friends.

Besides his wife he leaves four sons, George E. Jr. (Karen), Frank S. (Patricia), Robert A. (Kerry), and Michael A. (fiancee Cheryl) Goulart; three daughters, Donna M. (Richard) Wilson, Elaine M. (Anthony) Pelli, and Diane M. (Russell) Bertrand; and 14 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late John, Francis, Joseph, and Thomas Goulart, Marie Medeiros, Helen Tavares, Evelyn Million, and Martha Navaro.

His funeral will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the Fern Acres Funeral Home, 72 Willow Ave., Little Compton, with a Mass of Christian  burial at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church on The Commons, Little Compton. Burial will be on Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Little Compton. ThurstonJohn A. Thurston, 80, of Little Compton, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. He was the husband of Jane L. (Camara) Thurston; they were married for 58 years. Born in Fall River, a son of the late Anthony and Carrie (Macomber) Thurston, he was a resident of Little Compton for 60 years. Mr. Thurston was a resident engineer (building inspector) for the State of Rhode Island for 32 years, retiring in 1992. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, P. Mason Thurston and Weston Thurston; two daughters, Debra L. (Marc) Souza, and Shelli A. (Matthew) Cleary, all of Little Compton; grandsons James A. (Michelle Sweeney) Thurston, Jeremy P. Thurston and Weston D. Thurston II; granddaughter Susan J. Thurston, granddaughter Ashley L., and grandson Dillon P. Cleary; and great grandchildren Logan P., Liam J. and Taylor M. Thurston. A memorial service for John was held Saturday, May 24, at Amicable Congregational Church, Tiverton. Berube,ThomasThomas P. Bérubé, 57, of Lake Ave., Fall River, formerly of Berube Ave., Somerset, husband of Susan (Amaral) Berube and son of Martha (Pelletier) Berube of Tiverton and the late Wilfred A. Berube, died at home, Monday, May 26, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.

A chef, he was employed by Somerset Grill and was a Life Member and President of Seaconnet Sportsman’s Club. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed boating, travel and cooking.

Besides his wife of 30 years and mother, he leaves two children, Joshua J. Berube and his wife Sarah of Tiverton and Nicole E. Berube and her finacé Brian DeAlmeida of Fall River; siblings, David W. Berube and his wife Leslie of Portsmouth, Michael W. Berube and his wife Deborah of Tiverton and Pat Buchanan and her husband Gary of Taunton, and several nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, his funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 30, at noon in Holy Name Church. Robert G. Simonin, 64, of Westport passed away Monday, May 26, 2014, at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston. He was the former husband of Donna (Carpenter) Simonin of West Virginia.

Born in Fall River, son of the late Joseph N. and Helen B. (Saucier) Simonin, he was a lifelong resident of Westport.

Mr. Simonin had worked as a carpenter for various area contractors. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Along with his former wife, survivors include one son, Jerry L. Simonin of West Virginia; three daughters, Carrie Simonin, Melissa Rhinehart and Christine Simonin, all of Missouri; four brothers, Norman R. Simonin, William R. Simonin, Richard S. Simonin, all of Westport, and Dave Buzzad of West Virginia; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Jerry K. Simonin and David W. Simonin Sr.

Betty Jane Burkhardt, 89, Bristol

Betty Jane (Neale) Burkhardt, 89, of Bristol, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Rhode Island Hospital.

She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth R. Burkhardt.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Howard Irvin and Elva T. (Newman) Neale.

She leaves two children, Dr. Ann Burkhardt (Ramon Noboa Barroso) of Bristol, and Neale (Sharon DeMerchant) Burkhardt of Rochester, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Debra A (Korey) Bower and Diana L Biedeman (Landon Gleffe); and three great-grandchildren, Jenna L. Bower, Roderick Biedeman and Hannah Bower of Rochester, N.Y.

Betty was raised in Providence. She was a graduate of Central High School and Edgewood Secretarial School. She was an executive secretary for many years. She was an extraordinary mother who often took on leadership roles as scout leader (Cub Scouts, Brownies and Girl Scouts, in East Providence) and Mother Advisor of the Rainbow Girls (Riverside). Betty and her husband, Ken, were Hattie Brown Award Honorees in the 2003 Bristol Fourth of July parade, recognized for their service to elders in local nursing homes as lay ministers for the St. Michael’s Episcopal Church parish community.

In her youth, Betty danced professionally (acrobatics, ballet and dance) with the Miriam Palmer company/school. She also was a child actor in a production of “The Corn is Green,” in Providence, that starred Ethel Barrymore.

Arrangements were with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren on Monday, May 12. obit - deveauHerbert N. “Herb” Deveau, 70, of 12 Lang Ave., Bristol, died unexpectedly Monday, May 26, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Theresa “Terry” (Cruz) Deveau, his wife of 25 years.

Born in Ohio, Nova Scotia, Mr. Deveau was a resident of Bristol since 1972, previously residing in Pawtucket. He was the owner and operator of Herb’s Shellfish of Bristol for 18 years, retiring in 1996. He had previously worked as a self employed Quahoger for a number of years. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Bristol. Mr. Deveau was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Bristol Train of Artillery, where he had been a member since 1984. He was a former Boy Scout Leader for Troop 6, Bristol, was a well known  “Bake Master” in the Bristol area and enjoyed playing Santa Claus for many years, to the delight of many young children.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by four children, Amy B. Vedro (Christopher) of Swansea, Mass., Abby R. Paon (Matthew Sutton) of South Kingstown, Kimberly A. Micallef (Steven) of North Providence and Nicholas J.C. Deveau (Ashley Taylor) of Bristol; five grandchildren, Althea E. Vedro, Hailey E. Micallef, Scarlett E. Vedro, Brooke A. Micallef and Tanner M. Deveau; and many extended family members in Canada.

Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Saturday, May 31, at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St., Bristol. Immediately following Mass there will be Bristol Train of Artillery Honors conferred upon Mr. Deveau as his casket leaves St. Mary’s Church.  Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be Friday, May 30, 4-8 p.m.

Valentine 001Sarah E. Valentine, 15, of Westport, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston, due to complications from Trisomy 18. She was the daughter of Michael R. and Kathryn B. (Velozo) Valentine of Westport.

Being born with Trisomy 18 presented Sarah with many uphill battles throughout her life but she courageously fought through each and every challenge that was placed before her. She was strong, caring and full of life, always inspiring others, and she had a great sense of humor. Sarah was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Westport.

Survivors along with her parents include her maternal grandparents, Dennis M. and Betty (Eastwood) Velozo of Westport; her paternal grandmother, Pauline M. (Dupont) Valentine of Tiverton and the late Richard Valentine; a sister, Lauren N. Valentine of Westport; her godfather, Michael Velozo and his wife Nicole; her godmother, Sharon Desrosiers; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family wishes to thank all of the devoted caregivers that Sarah had throughout the years.

Lillian (Brown) Micheletti, 77, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, May 24. She was the wife of the late Vincent Micheletti. Born in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Frank and the late Georgianna (Machado) Brown.

Mrs. Micheletti worked at Amica Insurance in Providence for 11 years before joining her husband, Vincent, and brother-in-laws, Paul and Albert, owning and operating Sambo’s Diner in Fall River, MA.

She will be remembered fondly for her superb Italian cooking and baking, especially her beautiful wedding cakes and Italian cookies. She loved knitting, gardening and spending time with her grandsons.

She is survived by her children, Colleen and Michael Micheletti and his wife Amy; sister, Alice Borges and grandsons, Michael and Dylan Micheletti. She was the sister of the late Frank Brown, Jr.

Her visitation will be from Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, on Saturday, May 31, at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 11 a.m., State St., Bristol. Burial will be in North Burial Ground.

Joseph Andrew Arruda, 57, died suddenly in Hadley, Mass., on Thursday morning, May 22, 2014. He was the loving husband of Denise (Johnson) Arruda.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph E and Shirley (Miller) Arruda.

Joe was happiest while fishing and boating with family and friends in the waters of the East Bay and Monterey, Calif. He loved to cook for others, sing with his band of friends, host family Christmas parties and play with his grandchildren. Joe was universally known for his unconditional love of family and friends.

Joe worked in sales and marketing management for Northeast Utilities Co and Western Mass Electric. He was a dedicated volunteer member and past president of Save Bristol Harbor, a non-profit organization dedicated to the coastal waters of Bristol.

Joe was the father of Jenna Arruda, a medical student in Burlington, Vt.; Joseph Arruda, a cook in Bristol, and Christopher Arruda of Bristol. He was a proud Papa to Aiden (5), Lilly (3) and Hunter (8 months). Joe leaves behind two brothers, Andrew Arruda of Warren and Dr. James Arruda of Pace, Fla.

Arrangements were with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where family received friends, Tuesday, May 27. The Funeral was held Wednesday, May 28, in St Michael’s Church, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Save Bristol Harbor, PO Box 242, Bristol, RI 02809.
