Arthur Lin Cheng Luke, of County Road, Barrington, died Friday, April 17, 2015 at home. He was the husband of Jean (Wong) Luke.
Born in China, he was the son of the late Tin Fat Luke and Suey Ying Luke.
While in China he was a teacher and when he came to America he worked at Luke’s Restaurant for a number of years then became a jewelry worker and worked at the former Venvae Jewelry Shop.
He was an active member of St. Lames Lutheran Church in Barrington.
Besides his wife he leaves a son, Julian Luke of North Carolina, a daughter Pauline Luke of San Francisco, 3 brothers John P. Luke, Samuel Luke and Daniel Luke all of East Providence, 3 grandchildren, Mason and Izzy Luke and Mackay Luke Plaut.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25 at 11 a.m. in St. James Lutheran Church, 49 Middle Highway, Barrington. Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the church.
