Paula M. (Rucci) Caito, 68, passed away at home Sunday, April 13, 2014, after a long illness, surrounded by family. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Michael A. Rucci of Bristol and Helen (Bruno) Carr of Warren.
A lifelong resident of Bristol County, she was raised in Bristol and also lived in Barrington prior to residing in Warren. She was active in a number of organizations and activities, including the Cub Scouts and the Barrington Swingers bowling league. She graduated from Bristol High School in 1963, and was also a graduate of Angelo’s School of Hairdressing in Providence and Medical and Legal Transcription Services in Providence.
Besides her mother and father, she leaves her sons, Todd C. of Alpharetta, Ga. and Scott M. Caito of Kentfield, Calif., both formerly of Barrington; and grandchildren Kimberly, Madison, Andrew, Jack (all of Alpharetta, Ga. and Elena Caito of Kentfield, Calif.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 16 with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. in the Wilbur Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren. Burial will be private. Contributions may be made in her memory to Warren Animal Shelter, 80 Wood St., Warren, RI 02885. www.wilbur-romano.com
