On March 29, 2014, John (Macdaddy) McPherson joined his savior Jesus Christ in Heaven. He was a source of joy and laughter to all who knew him. His smile was forever present and infectious.
He was predeceased by his parents, Woodrow W. and Mae L McPherson.
He was the loving and devoted father of his children Hunter, 15, and Kylie, 17. His memory will be carried on by his children, the love of his life and best friend, Tracie Ann Souza and her three children, Danielle, Jacob and Harrison; his sisters, Marcia (Tom) Gura and Debbie Campbell; his brother, Tom (Beth) McPherson; nephews David, Michael, Joey, Tyler and Brian; his nieces, Manita, Melissa and Liz; a great-grand-niece, Avery; plus a countless number of friends, and his loyal and devoted dog, Soukie.
John was a devoted father to his children. His passions were spending time with his children, his forever love Tracie Ann, preaching the Word of the Lord, his church, First Baptist Congregational of Bristol, and The Miami Dolphins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kylie and Hunter’s College Fund at any TD Bank location.
A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at the First Baptist Church in Bristol.
