Francis “Frank” G. Carpano Sr., 91, of Warren passed away Friday, July 10, 2015, at Miriam Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Maureen (McGoey) Carpano.
Born in Staten Island, N.Y., he was the son of the late Antonio and Alda (Marchi) Carpano.
Frank worked for Renfield Importers for 40 years, starting in sales and working his way up to management. He also worked at Chris Gasbarro’s Fine Wine & Spirits in Seekonk for 20 years. He was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Frank G. Carpano Jr. of Lincoln; two daughters, Maureen Pisacrita of Norwalk, Conn., and Christina Schrade of Barrington; and five grandchildren, Francesca, Katie, Kevin, Kyle and Isabella.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where received friends Tuesday. His funeral was Wednesday, July, 15, from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Wood Street, Bristol.
Burial with military honors will be in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol.
