Peter J. Rotondo passed away peacefully on May 24 at St. Elizabeth’s Manor in Bristol.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne Rotondo; daughter Megan Rotondo of Greenville, SC; son Christopher and wife Nada Samih-Rotondo; and his two grandsons, Ali and Meena, of Providence.
Mr. Rotondo had been a resident at St. Elizabeth’s for five years and a resident of Bristol for more than 25 years. He was employed by Mental Health Services of Johnston and Eastland Property Management. He was an active member of the Portsmouth Rotary Club and proud recipient of the Paul Harris Award. He was a 1979 graduate of Roger Williams University, and a graduate of Johnston High School.
Mr. Rotondo is also survived by his brothers, Karl Ikerman of Cumberland, John Rotondo, of Ohio, Mark Rotondo of Johnston, David Rotondo of Warren, and Vincent Rotondo and wife Susan of Seekonk, Mass.; sisters Karyl Rotondo of Bristol, and Cris Saccoccio of Foster; and goddaughter Lisa Correira of Rehoboth, Mass.; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held at First Congregational Church of Bristol, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 5. Burial will be private.
