Luis S. Damasio, 77, of Catherine Street, passed away on June 8. He was the husband of Maria Esperito Santo (Hilario) Damasio.
Born in Aqua do Pau, St. Michael, he was the son of the late Joaquim and Ilda (Pereira) Damasio. He was the father of Lucia McCallum, Maria J. Cloutier, Luis A. Damasio and Paul J. Damasio; grandfather of Meaghan McCallum, Alison McCallum, James McCallum, Nicole Cloutier, Benjamin Cloutier, Jack Cloutier, Samantha Damasio, Kyle Damasio and McKenzie Damasio and brother of Maria DosAnjos Costa and the late Jose and Manuel Sousa.
Luis was a landscaper who worked for Sowams Nursery, Bristol County Nursery and DaPonte’s Landscaping.
His funeral services will be held Friday, June 13, 10 a.m., from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High St., with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church 577 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol.
