Cynthia Ann Kittell, 58, Warren

Cynthia_Kittell_obit_photoCynthia Ann Kittell, 58, of Warwick and formerly of Warren, passed away peacefully at home. She would have been 59 on Saturday, April 5. She was the daughter of Robert F. Kittell of Warren and the late Vivian Ann (Barber) Kittell. She was a stepdaughter of Arliene Kittell.
Cindy was a 1973 graduate of Warren High School. She worked as a substitute teacher in Seekonk and also at Grace Barker Nursing Home, where she was inspired to pursue her nursing career. She graduated from the Rhode Island College Nursing Program.
Cindy worked for the Rhode Island Blood Bank as the head nurse for 15 years and more recently as a nurse at the Rhode Island Veterans’ Home, where she was know for her dedication. She also had a love for animals.
Besides her father, she leaves a brother, Keith Kittell of Bristol; and a sister, Kathryn Kittell of Warren. Cindy had one godchild, Katie DiOrio. She was also the sister of the late Robert J. Kittell.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, where the family will receive friends Thursday, April 10, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services are at 9 a.m. Friday, April 11, from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave., Warren.
