Frances B. (Barden) Ramsden, 93,of Libby Lane, passed away on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014. She was the wife of the late Paul S. Ramsden Sr., to whom she was married for 37 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Clyde L. and the late Grace A. (Brayton) Barden.
Mrs. Ramsden was a lifelong resident of Warren. She was a bookkeeper until retiring at the age of 84. She was ahead of her time, tending to her organic garden for many years. She also spent more than 40 years honing her craft and true passion of needlepointing.
She leaves her sons, Paul Ramsden Jr. and his wife Cynthia, and Don Ramsden and his wife Ginger; her brother, Clyde L. Barden Jr.; her sister, Connie Stanley; her grandchildren, Kathleen Lingley, Patricia Drivick, David Ramsden, Amy Pizzolatto and K.C. Ramsden; her great-grandchildren, Luke, Samantha, Ian, Aiden and Allie; her niece, Jane Rice; and her nephews, Roy Stanley and Stephen and David Barden.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Service from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the WIlbur-Romano Funeral Home,615 Main St.
