Mary Gloria Haggerty, 89, of Tiverton, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013. She was the wife of the late Thomas Patrick Haggerty.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe Berube and Olive (Landreville) Berube. She had formerly worked as a home health aide.
She is survived by two sisters, Claire Goodrich and Dorothy Berube, both of Rhode Island; and her brother, Joseph Berube (wife Dolores) of Conneticut. She also leaves her grandaughter Christina (Husband Ronald) Costa of Tiverton, and grandaughter Melissa Bavoux of Attleboro. Great grandchildren are Juliet Costa, Ruby Costa, Thomas Fogarty and Marcel Bavoux Jr. She was the mother of the late Thomas Fogarty.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Victory Chapel in Tiverton sometime in the spring. Burial was Wednesday March 13, at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Arrangements are with the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home, 462 Main Road, Tiverton. www.almeida-pocasset.com
