Mark P. Isherwood, 65, of Bristol, died peacefully at home on Tuesday. He was the husband of Deborah J. (Ballentyne) Isherwood.
Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of Charles Isherwood of Fort Myers, Fla., and the late Jean (Durfee) Isherwood. Mark lived in Bristol for the past 15 years but had also resided in North Carolina, New Hampshire and Little Compton. He was a graduate of Towson State University and while in Baltimore appeared in a John Waters movie.
Mark worked as an independent painting contractor for all of his working life. He was an avid reader and sports fan and enjoyed vacationing in New Hampshire each summer.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a brother, David Isherwood of Sarasota, Fla., a sister, Jane Lemos of Little Compton; a niece and nephews and a loving extended family. He is also missed by his loving dog Sammy.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, Jan. 11, from 2-4 p.m. at the home of Mark’s aunt, Louise Durfee, 262 Highland Road, Tiverton.
