It is with great sadness that the family of John Paul Grenier announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL, on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at the age of 79.
He leaves his wife Nellie; a son Paul and daughter-in-law Carolyn; a daughter Janet Lewis and son-in-law Wayne, and daughter-in-law Nellie Grenier; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John Paul was the brother of Muriel J. Morris of Warren, the son of the late Jeannette Grenier and father of late Roger Grenier. He served in the United States Air Force and Navy for more than 22 years, and was a Vietnam War veteran.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, Stephenville on Monday, Feb. 18.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Sunday, March 24, in St. Jean Baptiste Church in Warren, RI.
