Margaret Veronica (Perry) Mazza, 94, of Hope Street passed away on March 3rd. She was the wife of the late Pasquale F. Mazza.
Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Joaquim Marques Pereira and Leotina C. Janeiro. She leaves behind her children Linda Kent and her husband Brian of Seekonk and Michael Mazza and his wife Tammy of Ormond Beach Flor.; grandson Joel Mazza and great grandchildren Xavier Mazza, Roman Mazza, John Thomas Lombardi and Anna Mae Lombardi. She was the sister of the late Jessie Perry, Mary Cordeiro, Irene Messier, Alice Coite, Charles Perry, Rose Perry and Alfred Perry.
Margaret attended Bristol schools and was employed by US Rubber, Crown Fastener, R & J Jewelry and Martin Copeland before retiring. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Bowling League, Women’s Bowling League, Portsmouth Senior Citizens Association as well as the Bristol Senior Citizens Association.
Her funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9th, 10 a.m. from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High St. with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 141 State Street. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
